Barring all other issues with the movie, why is there a picspam from The Last Airbender in a community for historical dramas? It is not a historical movie. It is not a fantasy movie set in a historical time, or set in a fantasy version of a historical time. It is a fantasy movie set in a fictional world based on several Earth cultures.

Hem.

Anyway.

This is a clip from The Last Airbender. This is the finished version (though, presumably, what you get in theaters and later on DVD will be, uhm, shinier). All the people who will tidy it up to make it look like an expensive movie and not a 5th grade play have gotten their hands on it.

If you made it through the whole thing, you get an internet prize. I do not know what said prize is. Assume it is both pretty and useful.

Most people apparently don't make it through a full minute of that. I am one of "most."

I had to view it in short segments. I was torn between hysterical laughter and second hand embarrassment for all involved. DEAR LORD. THEY PAID ONE MILLION AND FIFTY DOLLARS TO MAKE THAT.

I now know why the reviewers were so so harsh. I'd want the minutes of my life back too.
