Stefan I like so far (and he seems to be the closest vampire boyfriends can get to being ick-free, so far) though he's starting to show signs of "I will protect you" that could go badly (though, so far, he's only trying to protect her from things that are physical and beyond her scope, as they're supernatural things) and Damon I find entertaining and think is a good antagonist, though I don't like him. The rest I could completely do without.

Hopefully, I just finished the plotline you were referring to. Frankly supernatural element=drug addiction was beaten to death halfway through season 6 of Buffy.
