Buffy: Season 7 - Pretty much a mass of good ideas that fell flat.

I think that's the reason that the first half of the season is actually pretty good. They gave us all these cool ideas and established some interesting plot lines, but they all kind of fell flat because none of these plots went where they should have, and some were utterly ignored. I think by this time, they were all just bored with the show.
