Love Hina does develop slowly, but they both had a lot of growing up to do before they were ready for anything. The anime was nice, but really just a pale shadow of the manga. Ai Yori Aoshi is fairy high on my list of animes to check out.

Basara artwork grew on me. I started out not liking it, but have become really fond of it.
