Things one forgets when one is basking in the superior residence of others for 10 days:

1.  One's computer is very, very, very slow.

2.  One does not have central air and heat, just a window unit.

3.  One's shower water takes up to 10 minutes to heat, as opposed to 30 seconds.

4.  One's apartment could fit into the living room-kitchen-dining room area of said superior residence if One's closet and bathroom were removed from the equation.

It's always a bit of a letdown coming home... 

*stares at floor in horror*

There's 2 piles of trade and HB novels, 3 of MMPBs, and 2 of manga.  And this is only the spillover small piles that appeared when the main place I put books when I finish them and haven't put them away properly yet wouldn't hold any more. 

I don't think I've sorted through and put away read books yet this year.

 I do, however, have proof for the first time in ages that I do, in fact, have a computer desk and (broken) printer!

Meanwhile, there's a Claymore fangirling party going on here.  (I think magicnoireis still on ch 75~, though.) ETA:  Nevermind, she's all caught up.

ETA:  Also, it seems that at some point in time, I acquired the HC collection of Patricia Wrede's Enchanted Forest Chronicles, and put it in the wrong place...)
