Has anyone read
this book about superheroines in American comics? I've seen it recced, but am...leery? It's a pretty good price for a metabook, but I don't have great experience with "men explaining/discussing superheroines/women in comics," even when I frequently like their work.
Fabian Nicieza did not say "but what about the dead men?" in response to Women in Refrigerators. He did not he did not. (Actually, he said a lot more than that, and unlike most of the men who said that, he actually bothered to explain the reaction and request details so he could be won over, but it was his leadin!)
