Haven 2.3-2.6
Aug. 26th, 2011 07:13 pmMay I just say that I think the show is much better when it's doing creepy spooky things are out to get you and family curses and town secrets than when it's having the evil Troubled of the week or poor Troubled who doesn't know what s/he is doing and/or can't control it? I mean, sure, ghosts and gothic ladies in lighthouses and THE WOODS WILL EAT YOU are more my thing in general, but this is one of those shows that really is at its best when it's focused on the metaplot. (I've also noticed that the best "troubled of the week who can't control/doesn't know about hir powers are the ones where the Troubled is basically trapped in the town because of their Trouble.)
