When Robin of Sherwood came out in the early 80's I even skipped my last lesson at school on Wednesdays and my best friend and I rushed home to watch it and my favourite character was Will. Every body else was raving about Michael Praed as Robin but for me it was only and always Ray Winstone. He gave Will Scarlet back his tragic past and his dignity.
