1. I dropped off the face of the earth here after making a post apologizing for doing just that. As an apology, some pictures of my cat.
2. Otherwise? Sales are trickling in for my soaps. I'm hoping to have enough visibility to have high sales in November and December when people do their serious shopping.
3. My county is officially a Covid-19 hotspot-we're #16 in the country per 100k people in July, supposedly, despite no factories and the college and community college being shutdown. Pretty much this is the land of Trump cultists who think FoxNews is the most legitimate and reliable source of information and "it's just a bad cold". The poor mayor was effectively begging people to use their brains and stay home and follow guidelines before the governor completely shuts us down. Sigh. My family here is ok so far-some extended family have had it but pulled through.
4. Not much airing US TV (I think i'm down to Stargirl) means I've actually made some progress at watching some things I was behind on or hadn't had time for, yet I still seem to be falling further and further behind.
5. Fandomwise I'm mostly at twitter now, I think. Meganbm123.
6. Everyone remember my apartment nightmares last year? Some friends (not remembering what apartments I had been at) helped an older couple from their church moved in there-the apartment managers moved them in with all the windows still busted from recent hailstorms, and didn't fix them before the next. There have also been a couple people on local facebook groups asking about exterminators for an apartment because they're afraid to tell the manager and I think there's a good chance it's the same place, but didn't ask. Glad to be free of there, but feeling bad for everyone still there. (Sad thing is that it was one of the best places in town when I moved in, but ownership changed a few times and now it's terrible-most people who end up there do so for the location.)
