Some of that man's stuff, especially the pen and ink pieces-- if I hadn't seen a particular one before and you told me it was a lost Rackham masterpiece, I'd believe you. *wants to go dig out all that Sandman and Books of Magic work that Vess did a decade or two ago, wherever the heck it might be in this house*

Yes. I love his paintings, but there's something about the pen and ink pieces that's amazing.

There's this otherworldly quality to his work...it isn't pretty, but it's all so beautiful...
