No Leon's brother. If I recall correctly, there's some sort of Triad (?) boss or corrupt government official who started trying to out him towards the end of volume 1 but it's just not the same. The stories in general just aren't as good as the original series -- they have the people and their pets, sure, but none of them had the parallel allusions (couple gets rabbit who looks like deceased daughter, they spoil rabbit like they spoiled daughter, rabbit makes bunch of killer rabbits just like daughter became robbing addict). So it's not as interesting to me.
