My newly spawned anime fan,  calixa, needs anime recs.   She likes mysteries, comedy, romantic comedy, wuxia, cute otps, and fluff.  Here is her post on what she's seen so far.  Go forth and rec.  But no yaoi.  And only good stuff.  Friends don't rec bad anime to friends of friends.

I prefer my anime to have swords, guns and explosions myself. I'll work her up to that, as she's a wuxia fan...right now she's enthralled by spontaneous sparkles and flowers, though she isn't a majorly shojo-y person. Nodame might be good,t hough...we both like the jdrama.
