Yeah, I didn't like Kanda at the beginning of Volume 1, because he was too angry and emo and just seemed sorta stereotyped, but by the end and with what is implied, I suddenly loved him. I've only seen a little of Lenalee, and she looks like she could go either way with cool or annoying, but I'm shallow and I also really like her character design ;) Of course, I can say the same of Kanda...
