1.  I have discovered a manga about a chibi in a witch's  hat who drags a coffin through a fairy tale land.  AND THEN I FORGOT TO WRITE DOWN THE TITLE!  CURSES!

2.  The apartment complex finally has a new manager.  The last one left 2+ months ago, and the company has been sending someone over to do paperwork and such.  Possibly, I have been literally reduced to stalking that person when they're there so that I can hand my rent payment to a person and get a receipt, instead of sticking it through the mail slot.

3.  No response yet from bookcloseouts.com.  I think they think they got rid of me.

4.  First person present tense remains evil.

5.  I have decided that, when participating in friending memes, I should use this icon to sell myself.

1. The manga is Shoulder-a-Coffin Kuro. I only knew this offhand 'cause my former roommate works for Yen Press :)

What is this with all the coffins being dragged around? Honestly, lugging suitcases last week was more than enough for me!

(BTW, my Firefox doesn't like that layout ... .)

I don't know. Maybe coffins were a fad a couple years ago in Japan?

(The layout style is a "style contest" one...I think it still has a few bugs.)

Have you tried the live chat option or a phone call to bookcloseouts.com? I've never had to deal with their CS myself (so I don't know if you've been assigned a specific person to argue with) but if they're like everywhere else, re-explaining yourself over and over again each time with the new representative who receives the email gets old and useless fast.

I'm supposedly getting the same person every time.

After you win the auction, I'm so writing your fic in first person present tense. Mwa ha ha ha! ;)
