Probably, they dressed him up like a cute little girl for kicks.~~ Also explains why he is clearly trained to leap betwixt girls and danger, even when he claims to not like them. Though it seems Sakura having a crush on Kaho ~~*sigh*~~ has sparked jealousy.

And they...they were talking about their mutual crush on Yukito... *dies* And she’s starting to hero worship him...

I am also starting to be convinced that Syaoran has a “Sakura is crying/scared” radar indicating that SOMETHING IN THE UNIVERSE IS WRONG AND MUST BE FIXED! NOW!

Kaho has awesome maze solving abilities. I also see that the bunnies Syaoran and Toya won in the massive ring tossing tournament have wings.

I sometimes wonder if Yukito is really as clueless about certain things as he seems, or if he just loves to tease Toya that way.

All I can say about your relationship chart is ooh, just wait. I tried to diagram it once and gave up. Seriously.

It's sort of interesting that Sakura has a crush on Kaho and Syaoran doesn't, though. Especially at this point. It made me think he was intended to be gay at first.

I think your chart looks about right. lol although there will need to be some more adjustments at some point. You did put Sakura =>>Yukito twice though. lol.

Well, he also does some specific "Sakura is a girl" blushing. I kind of think they both have an older same-sex crush to keep things even, though Sakura's seems to less clearly be a romantic crush. I also get the feeling that there's a "something strange" feeling influencing both their reactions to Kaho and Yukito. Older sisters could also make him naturally suspicious of older girls.

I JUST NOTICED THE ICON YOU USED FOR YOUR MAIN POST. So cute. SO ridiculously adorable. I love Syaoran/Sakura like whoa. (In the anime, the sisters SHOW UP. It was fabulous. It was the first movie. So so awesome.)

It's not like Syaoran is jealous of Kaho. He just dislikes her because their magic is not compatible, or that's the explanation they give us later.

...Huh. I think it's because, I don't know, they're in her house or she knew the solution to that one already. Because later on, someone teases her for her ability to get lost in the streets. Kaho is secretly a klutz :D

I noticed the forced Syaoran crossdressing in Tsubasa, and assumed it was a CCS nod. I didn't mind it as much then as I usually do(I'm fine with it when the guy likes or at least is comfortable with it, but I really dislike the trope of humiliating the guy by forcing him to crossdress.)

I don't really get a straightup jealousy vibe from Syaoran, but his dislike seems at least a bit influenced by Sakura's liking her.

I was mostly referring to Kaho's solving the problem with knocking down walls. (The secret klutz thing is already showing up a bit. I kinda love her, despite the "Dating a student" thing.)

My best friend actually DREW OUT the CCS love polygon for me while she had got into the show/manga and I had yet to. It was SO DAMN CONFUSING, lol. But the visual helped. ;)

I suspect a relationship chart is a must.

I normally don't like male crossdressing, either (I can dig female if it's important to the plot, however). But if it helps, Sakura also gets to crossdress (although she's more on the cute and Tezuka-like (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_Knight) factor).

I interpreted it at the day as frustration on his part for trusting a suspicious person just because she's so purty and makes her feel happy. Funny enough, another suspicious person shows up at the second arc, and Sakura befriends them immediately, and that time Li DOES get jealous romantically.

Kaho is adorable <3 I started liking her after a re-read because I watched the anime first and she's sort of aloof there. It's too bad most people dislike her because of her love life (her new love interest is... you'll see, that one is really odd)

In the first CCS movie, Syaoran's sisters show up. They love anything cute, so needless to say, they glomp Sakura and Tomoyo and fawn over Touya and Yukito.

Also, to quote the anime: Tomoyo: "It seems our relationship chart has gotten rather complicated..."

I suspect being a lot alike (esp. towards Sakura and Yukito) is a large part of why they don't get along.

Of course, your chart is a bit more detailed, with squiggles and things. I think you also included a couple of relationships (Kaho) that I ignored.

I'm sure it'll get longer, and the squiggles will go away...

I agree with that statement wholeheartedly. They are very a like, I've always thought so--which is why I'm not surprised when so many Syaoran fans will quickly say: "And I like Touya too!"

The big difference is I think Syaoran is even more helpless with girls than Touya. Having so many sisters I think puts him at a weird disadvantage, especially as they're all older and big on teasing. Syaoran is more awkward around girls in a way that is surprising for a guy so mature in other ways (you learn more and more how mature he really is, now he doesn't seem so much). Touya is rather suave without trying, which is probably why there could ever have been a Touya and a Kaho.

You've inspired me to re-read this, btw. I've just finished volume 3 yesterday! :3
