Well it worked for the movie series, because it would be pretty boring if you got to T4 and it was still "here's a Terminator out to kill John Connor... but it can turn into kittens! Dare Ah-Nuld kill kittens?"

So while it's interesting to explore the AU of "okay, shit happens, now what?" in T4, I hope T:SCC goes somewhere different with it. Otherwise, you have to wonder what the point is of all their struggles.
