Yeah, it probably does. In the 7 episodes I watched, I think the only scenes she had where she actually spoke that weren't directly related to her wanting to get back together with Michael were a couple scenes with Sam in the second episode, and the cocktail bombs scene. It's brought up in almost every scene they share, and when she's off screen but mentioned, that's the context she's mentioned in. It's like Simone in Heroes except that (A) she gets to be a participant in the plot, and (B) no love triangle so far.
