Ummm...spoiler code. I don't think that this is so much spoilery since I'm not talking about plot, but...idk.

I don't know about everything else, but I started reading Key to Conflict...and I haven't been able to finish it for lots of reasons. One--the vampires are really, really old-fashioned chauvinists. In fact, every guy that I've encountered in the series so far that is male comes off as an old-fashioned chauvinist (or, at least, the ones that take a liking to the main character). And there's a ridiculous amount of sex.

The only thing that kept me reading it was the main character's creativity in swear words and metaphors.
