I think it does get better in the second season, but you have to endure a few episodes with the same plot: everyone must get dressed up and attend some function! After that, you get more eps with character development.

Unfortunately, I think there's even MORE of the gross/annoying Buy More crew. I tape the show so I can fastforward those parts.
