The one thing that really bothered me about it was that a lot of the authors did not write much steampunk by trade. For example, I love Tim Powers, and I love the steampunk novel I've read by him, but I've read maybe five non-steampunk (though just as enjoyable) novels by him. And though his selection was good and I enjoyed it, I didn't consider him a steampunk writer before that (and I'm not 100% sure I do). XDDDD

What I really liked about the anthology, though, was that they selected a lot of very different short stories, and none of them were much alike.
