Well, phooey.

As I'm not shelling out a couple hundred dollars for a journal that I don't know for a fact that will be around long enough for me to get enough use out of it to warrant the expense, I didn't purchase a Dreamwidth account.  But I did upgrade during the beta, and even though I haven't been able to change my icons at all since Dreamwidth went live, I still had access to all my icons (which were just the icons I had uploaded in February).  Sadly, it seems that I lost the extra icons between yesterday and today.

There are other options besides the $200 permanent accounts (which were only a one-time thing anyway).
