*gasp pant wheeze*

so, as some of you know, I am a horrible housekeeper.

You know how unless the kid is a saintly cleaner, mothers of teenagers will ALWAYS fight with their kids about their bedrooms?  I didn't have anything resembling a leg to s  tand on at the parents.  Having an apartment hasn't helped with that.

You know when you see Sandra Bullock's apartment in Miss Congeneality, and it's so cluttered and messy that she can't take a step without tripping over something?  That's almost my apartment.

So, I get home today and see a notice that they'll be conducting routine property inspection tomorrow morning.  What fun.  Two hours later, I think I have it to where it looks like I'm just a messy housekeeper with too many books, as opposed to the normal sty look.  I hope.

More likely than not, the inspection will wake me up in the morning.

I know just what you mean about housekeeping, since I'm just the same :). My mother is coming for a visit tomorrow, so I'll have to do some fast surface tidying tomorrow morning (can't do it today, since I'm meeting a friend in the evening) before she gets to my apartment...

*looks at her room* Yeah I am so with you. I really need to clean mine before I kill myself going to the bathroom at night.
