Pasta salad recipes are kind of a leftover staple for us, and we never use mayonnaise, just some olive oil (or other oil) and vinegar - boil some noodles, stir in oil and vinegar and salt, and then chop up meat (we usually use chicken) and a variety of other flavours (I love capers, my sister loves artichoke hearts, feta cheese usually really helps fill out some flavour, peas and chopped carrots and broccoli have all been used.)
