So, pretty much, SWR is saving the Hondo appearances to brighten up otherwise meh-ish episodes that didn't really live up to their potential?

And where is the Ahsoka/Hondo episode we deserve already?

Yeah, I really want Hondo and Ahsoka to meet again. (I would also accept Hondo selling information to Vader but I'm not sure he survives that encounter, and I'd prefer that he hang around a while yet.)

I'm holding out for episode VIII or IX to have a smuggler fleet with a really, really old commander who meets Rey and/or Luke and mentions the Jedi "back in my day".
