would you rec any of those kdramas? i've been watching a couple of excellent ones (not currently airing) and can foresee a slump once i'm done with them. always run that risk.

All of them except Are You Human Too. I dropped it 1 week from the end because of spoilers. It starts great but eventually derails horribly and consistently cares less and less about the women.

Chuno is a modern classic sageuk but...is most definitely By A Dude and has some gross out humor and a couple of ucky side plots that keep it from being a near perfect drama like it could be.

Your House Helper is one of those that not many watched, but those who did swear by it, aside from some finding it slow around the middle. Time is a great melodrama, but had to have heavy rewrites around the middle due to the lead actor being sick and having to cut his time for treatment. Life on Mars and Familiar Wife are probably the best on that list (I watched the other 9 episodes that had aired at the time over the weekend) but take a few episodes to get going.

I might start Life on Mars because I just finished Secret Forest, which was an excellent mystery/political thriller. (I was going to start Signal but I think I'd better save it for a rainy day a.k.a a bad slump.)

I actually watched Are You Human 'til the end cause I didn't get spoilers... I can't tell you how disappointed I was when Kim Sungryung's character died. I hate it when martyr moms are written in =_= the only positive things I can say about the ending is that Nam Shin III lived, and Ye Na did not end up together with the jerk human Nam Shin- which are... the bare minimum expectations basically.

That's sad about Time. How are the rewrites though? Do they pull it off?
Eh, I'll pass on Chuno. Your House Helper gives me Rain or Shine vibes, which is surprising. They both have similar pacing, I suppose. (Both are holiday watches for me, because I like slow watches when I have all the time.)
