The Princess Bride: not-so-gigantiod picspam
So, even though it is (as far as I know) a far more popular and well known movie than Willow, there don't seem to as many Princess Bride pics to be found. So I shall compensate with more vids.
Please note that "not-so-gigantoid" is in comparison to the Willow post...

Their love is very pretty, very scenic and has lots of adventuresome things going for it:
Their love is also nicely color coordinated, to make sure they look lovely and striking together. But lets face it, they're pretty enough that they'd probably look just fine in sackcloth. We'd really rather they just stuck with what they're wearing already, though:
Buttercup has a habit of getting kidnapped and such:
Initially by these three:
As only one is evil and the other two are loveable and misguided, the evil one is quickly disposed of and the other 2 become sidekicks.
Sidekick A, Inigo:
Sidekick B, Fezzik:
These are our main villains, the Evil Prince Humperdink and his Evil six-fingered sidekick who's name I can never remember:
Unfortunately, Buttercup is engaged to Prince Humperdink against her will:
But fear not! Westley and sidekicks shall save her!
But not before Prince Humperdink and his own sidekick torture Westley some:
Thankfully, Miracle Max and his wife are there to save him:
Along the way there are things like sea adventures
Very Very Bad weddings
Inigo having an epiphany
And various other things I do not have pictures of.

You know picspam would be quite alright if it didn't all repeat when one writes a comment ... .
I like Inigo best, but I give Westley an honorable mention because he makes my old friend TK so very happy. Buttercup does her best, but when all is said and done, she's basically The Heroine, and that's it. (She's looking at me reproachfully from my current wall calendar even as I type this ... .)

I think preference for Westley vs Inigo seems to rely on rather you're in it for the romance or for the fun and adventure more, or both...I like them about equally.
Buttercup really is just there to get rescued, isn't she? But that's ok, she's not quite to the point of being a Mary Sue and is perfectly likable, so I've never really had problems with that.
Someone on my f-list asked for 80s movies recs but said 80s fantasy gave her hives, which has resulted in my having my 80s fantasy movies going almost nonstop in the background while I find pics and MVs and and make icons and do these posts.
