anime: Hakkenden?

Has anyone seen the anime Hakkenden/Dog Warriors?

I saw and liked the live action a while back, but haven't seen or heard anything about the anime.

Any opinions?

I've seen a few episodes. I really do like the story but the animation really, really falls apart halfway through the series.

hmmm...it's only 13 episodes, right? I can usually handle bad animation(or art) if the story's good enough, or its not too long.

I think so. Mind you, this was in high school so maybe my opinion would be different now. I did manage to make it through 26 episodes of Gilgamesh after all.

Indeed. I brought it up because rightstuf has it for $25 and they have tokyopop manga on sale anyway...
