Is it worth passing on an hoping rightstuff will have it at a better price in their annual christmas sale?

Honestly, I pre-ordered it and that DD sale price is $2 cheaper than what I paid for and I don't regret it. Unless you have the RightStuf membership, I'm not sure you'll be able to get it for much cheaper than that DD price anyway.

At least I have until friday to decide. And possibly find a way to squeeze Gilgamesh in there.
