*sigh*

Why is it that if I buy half a gallon of milk, I use it up in 2-3 days, but if I buy a gallon, I still have half of it left when the expiration date comes 10 days later?

And why doesn't rightstuf have a nice little "my account" link on the front page...OR ANYWHERE WHERE I CAN FIND IT?!?!?!?!!?

I do not know. But I am craving dairy and there is none in the house. *sad*

EXACTLY!

When I end up wanting a lot of milk...it's a week when I only got a little. So I get a full gallon...and have to throw have of it out.

*sigh*

The Young Lady drinks lots of skim milk, so we go through a couple of half gallons of that each week. But I usually get a little pint container of 2% as well, to put in my tea. And the chances are excellent that it will expire before the week is out. I guess it's harder for the smaller bottles to stay evenly cold ... ?

Probably. I've had several occasions where there was suddenly a ring of ice around the top of the milk(or a half inch of frozen milk) but everything rlse was fine.

it's one of the great mysteries of life, up there with the Yeti and what happens to socks in the dryer.
