...I followed a link at  magicnoire's LJ and learned that I did, indeed, own over half of these at one point in time, and still own many.  Because they had Shatterstar as written by Fabian Nicieza.  I find it difficult to feel shame over that, despite the pain to my eyes.

I never really read comics (although my brothers went through a brief stage so I've had minor exposure) but that is the most hilarious link I have clicked on in a long, long time. I've gotten to #13 and am typing this becuase I have to take a quick break - I can no longer hide the giggles, and my co-worker I share an office with is starting to wonder at my uncontrollable snickering.

rob liefeld is legendary because he always has work despite being universally hated for both his art and his work ethic(never turning things in and badmouthing fellow professionals)

He got big because he was self trained, and essentially made a new style popular...but it's still awful.
