+Hello again, nice agent from a few seasons back who makes much more sense for Carter than Pete. A pity you didn’t come along a bit sooner.

+The inauguration episode was...myeh. Too much Kinsey. Not enough Kinsey getting pwned. No regulars except a bit of Hammond. At least there was a flashback to the Supreme Moment of Thor Pwning.

+Aww...Daniel isn’t allowed to help O’Neill with crosswords. (What is Carter, his mother? Keeper, at least...) I don’t think someone realizesthat wrong answers don’t count...

+So this is Elizabeth Weir. Who is blonde but will be a brunette in Atlantis. I think I like.

+So Carter is a Nnatural resource and a National Treasure? That’s sweet.

+I think Daniel feels compelled to compensate for Teal’c’s refusal to speak.

+Whose idea was it to give Daniel beer, anyway? Even I can tell that’s a bad idea...

+Teal’c and Bra’tac seem to approve of Weir in general. That means much.

She got pregnant near the end of season eight, and was gone the first five episodes of season nine.

And no, Ronan just a reused name. *sigh*

OMG. I still miss blonde!Weir, occasionally. But she's a completely different take on the character than brunette!Weir.

Ah. I only just heard and learned that she worked through most of it, so I was wondering.

Ronan is a name they reused VERY VERY QUICKLY.

I like blonde Weir, but thought she seemed different from what I'd heard aboutthe Atlantis character.

Brunette Weir takes over at the beginning of season 8. In fact, I just watched the second half of the two-part season premiere on Sci-Fi tonight. (Timeline-wise, Atlantis starts not too long after it.)

But Weir's move from the SGC to the Atlantis project might not make sense if you've seen the s7 finale but not the s8 opener.
