how the internet can inspire heart attacks

Step 1:  Purchase A-Kon ticket(no A-Kon, I do not want a T-Shirt I will never wear again after that weekend.  I am sure this will make me a freak, but if I change my mind, I'll let you know.)

Step 2:  Pay through Paypal.

Step 3:  Check e-mail.

Step 4:  SEE FOUR ORDER CONFIRMATIONS!!!

Step 5:  Panic.

Step 6:  Log into paypal.

Step 7:  Breathe again at seeing only one payment made.

DO NOT DO THINGS LIKE THAT TO ME, INTERNET!!!!

Wow...you mean our Megan is going to an anime convention?! She's growing up! ;)

I've thought several times about going to A-Kon, but never have. Now, it would probably be the most affordable one for me to go to.

Somehow, though, it doesn't seem like it would be as fun "just" going to Dallas, if you know what I mean. Going to Baltimore and Otakon always seems like vacation.

So who will you be dressing up as? ;D

I swear I've mentioned A-Kon once or twice before.

I shall be going as myself.

Heh...I thought you would say that.

And you may have mentioned A-Kon, but if it was behind a cut, I probably missed it. Sometimes I barely take the time to skim through current f-list posts, so I have missed stuff on occasion.

From what I've heard, A-Kon is a pretty good con, not up to Otakon or Anime Expo, but it has to be better than Ushicon in Austin was.
