(no subject)

rightstuf.com's current sale is 40% off DVD and 33% off merchandise from Funimation.

Funimation seems to be drifting away from 3-5 ep DVDs, and towards 13 ep sets.  More cost effective for buyers in the long run, but why isn't Claymore getting that treatment?  Now to decide whether or not I want to get Claymore as it comes out, or wait for a set, and whether or not to give in to some combination of the sets of Yuyu Hakusho, Ouran High School Host Club, Pumpkin Scissors, and Ghost Hunt.  I think Noir, Gilgamesh, and Emma are also all in the weekly specials, too.

MEANWHILE!

Person who stole my Dr. Pepper  from the refrigerator (in a drawer, so they had to be looking for someone's drink to take):  pray I never find you.

They did, although Pumpkin Scissors is a much smaller release so I wouldn't expect them to release it as a boxset (less risk and all). They could probably get away with it for Claymore, but on the other hand they probably make more money on singles than on boxsets in the shortrun. Either way they'll hopefully release one or both in a thin-pak (or simply multi-DVD holder) set.

PS is getting the "2 sets of 13 eps each" treatment.
