As always, Arakawa excels when dealing with war.  I love that virtually none of Mustang's campaign is shown through his team's perspective.  Showing things primarily through "enemy" perspective is always excellet when done right, and I can't think of a single thing Arakawa's done wrong for me in the series.  (A couple characters I could do without, but that's different.)

And Mustang and Hawkeye were something of a team up legend back in the war?  Excellent.  Until now, I had the impression their partnership didn't start until after.

Arakawa really is bringing in every character she's ever written, isn't she?  Ed's matured so much the last couple years that i got confused when Denny showed up.  They look too much alike!

Though Ed may react more grumpily in the case of toddlers interrupting his sleep.

Ed would react more grumpily, but then his lack of years to build up an immunity would result in a complete melting to the cute.

heh honestly I needed to double check who some of the characters that showed up were because when Havoc's dad (I'm guessing that's who that was?) showed up I was like 'whooooa wait a second!' and it took me my second read through to know it who Denny was...

I miss my Alphonse ;-; I want him back soon please Arakawa
