Is LJ holding anyone else's comment notifications via e-mail hostage for several hours, or is it just me?

It's been doing that to me over the last few days. It's so annoying...

I think it only started lasy night for me.

Is that why my comment notifications haven't shown up today?

I do notice though that usually later in the day it takes them a bit longer to get to me, but not like hours.

I think it's a bit slower in the evenings because LJ is busier, but not like this.

Me too. I just replied to a comment that I only saw when I came to check my friendslist.

I think it started last night for me, but I didn't notice as much because I wasn't getting as many comments overall.

It totally is doing that to me too (in case you were still curious lol). It's really irritating.

I haven't has problems with that until jow. It DID kill and eat my journal styles *and* then deleted several icons in an RPG journal, tho. =/

Me too and they are all out of order. Sometimes my reply comes back to me before the comment I am replying to.

I don't get my own replies as e-mail, but I am getting them all out of order.

Ugh, yes, since about 7:30 this morning. DX It's making me paranoid.

It might have something to do with their move.

I can do you one better. My notifications aren't delayed, for the most part, they don't even exist! :P I have to keep checking posts manually, which is a pain in the arse.

Me too. But I don't get them since that server moving last week. I read the news and did how they wrote... and I still don't get any. T_T
New servers mean new IP addresses, so it's possible that LJ mail might not reach your email inbox because your email provider or client doesn't recognize the new IP addresses. We're working with email providers to whitelist the new IPs. There are a few things you can do on your end:
Add these two IP addresses to your "allowed senders" list (or whitelist) and address book in your email client: 208.93.0.18 and 208.93.0.50. These are the new IPs for sending comments notifications and LJ mail to your email inbox.
Add lj_notify@livejournal.com and webmaster@livejournal.com to your email address book.
If you can't edit the spam or junk filters in your email client, you may need to disable them entirely. Make these changes just before 8:00 a.m. PST on Tuesday morning or shortly after the site comes back up to ensure that your LJ mail makes it to your inbox.
