Dear Bones, You just killed the comic book fan in me...
So, episode 12 deals with comic/gaming nuts.
In the room of a comic book fan, Seeley Booth, who claims to be at least something of a fan of comics, picks up an old issue of Batman, waves it around, and says (roughly) "Hey, this one is worth $130"
Yes, bagged and boarded or not, a supposed comicbook fan was waving around a rare comic, only holding onto a corner.
*is dead*
Also? All the comics we can actually see are of the "this box for $5" variety.
That said, the shop itself appears to be like what I remember, though they probably just rented a shop for a day.

*waves around Uncanny 101, which is worth about the same, just to make you twitch* ;)

Actually, the comic bit aside, the episode wasn't as bad as some are. At least they realized that falling into one geek category doesn't automatically qualify you for every one.
