Apparently, Warner Bros. is making a live action Bleach. That sounds very scary to me. It also reminded me that I never linked to ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
snarp 's very interesting critiques of Bleach and gender. (Linking to the tag as it's more than one post.) I'd actually blocked a lot of that. Probably because I'm very behind on the series because the endless arc kept mostly being about characters I don't care about.
Speaking of scary, this was my internet life last night:
Person A: *IMs* OMG! I was talked into watching Spartacus: Blood and Sand! You must watch too for moral support!
Me: Ok? Oh, Lucy Lawless and John Hannah are scheming married politicians. That's why I was eventually watching it.
Person B: (posts to lj* OMG! Look at this so not worksafe that words do not exist Spartacus: Blood and Sand video I found.
Me: *watches* OMG TRAUMATIZED FOR LIFE.
I suspect I'll need something...purifying after.
