I actually have nothing right now, but I hope you do.

*sends out brainstorming vibes*

Hang on. I have time now and I'm going to brainstorm a couple panels over the next couple hours. I'll need help with wording the panel descriptions, though?

And Everyone Loses an Eye: The All Things CLAMP Panel

The creative team, CLAMP, stormed the manga scene during the 1990s. You couldn't turn around without running into one of their projects: Card Captor Sakura, Clover, X, Magic Knight Rayearth, and more. Let's talk about these projects along with their newer titles like xxxHolic and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. What were their influences? What was their impact? When will they finish X already? And why does everyone lose an eye?

Ok. I'll probably let them sit a day and then submit them tomorrow.

Female Representations of Power in Shounen Manga & Anime

Shounen series are traditionally targeted toward boys. This doesn't mean the leads are always males, though. What are some series where the leads are women? What about series that follow the traditional mold – are there examples where female characters play major roles? Does their strength manifest in different ways? Let's talk the good, the bad, and the ugly.

All Things Magical Girl

Magical girls are a mainstay of anime and manga. Their focus on female narratives and friendship offer an alternative to the shounen battle model. How did the subgenre come about? What about the impact of moe? Has it co-opted traditionally feminine stories for male voyeuristic pleasure? Recommended series: Sailor Moon, Magic Knight Rayearth, Card Captor Sakura, Utena, Princess Tutu & Madoka Magica.
