And a question for dorama fans:  for those of you who who've bought YesAsia sets before:  have you ever had the cardboard boxes kind of fall apart on you?  I got the first set of Jumong when rightstuf.com had it on sale a few weeks ago and it came today, and 1 1/2 sides split open while I had the box open so I could get to the booklet and DVD cases inside.  As near as I can tell, it was the weight of the lid pulling it that did it.

(And LJ, if your changing things up anyway, can you just go ahead and give me more icon spaces?  I have icons to upload, but already cleared out ones I'm tired of for new ones recently, and have no free spaces...)

My boxes are all pretty and intact. I own Jumong and my box looks kinda sturdy.

I may have just gotten that one fluke box. It "looks" really sturdy, but one seam just split att the way down, and another partway. Though the packaging is different, I've never had a problem with the various wuxias I've bought from them. Granted, the wuxia sets are slimmer, but those things are tough. (Actually, I prefer the wuxia packaging of cardboard box + multitray DVD case to Jumong's cardboard box + foldout.)

Yesasia has always been very good to me, all my sets from there came intact and in a very good condition.

I think it was just a fluke set. My wuxias have boxes so sturdy I'd have to TRY to damage them. This is just my first kdrama to buy from them, and the packaging is different.

There's a permanent account sale some time this month - I think it's on the 20th, but I can't guarantee I've read it right, so you'll probably need to check the news feed (whatever it calls itself) to double check.

They promise us loyalty userpics (more icons per 3 months of paid account) but lately I've see no increase in the icon space. LJ is indeed becoming more suspicious.

My Coffee Prince boxset is pretty sturdy. It's not cardboard though. The slipcase is heavy stiff paper, and the inside fold-out is reinforced with really thick double-disc plastic holders.
