Taking from both series - I really need to start Sword and Flower soon as possible.

I have ADD and sometimes multitasking is necessary for me to pay attention to something (I know how odd that sounds) and iconning can be an easy way to multitask that doesn't actually require most of my focus. I'm enjoying Sword and Flower a lot, though I feel it may be spending a bit too long on the first act.

The screencaps and a recap I read of the first episode definitely made it seem like a lush story.

I think I'm not too surprised by your critique though. A lot of Korean dramas seem to linger on events before the meat of the plot, and sometimes it succeeds with setting things up, but a lot of times I'm chomping at the bit for it to hurry.
