Alice Borchardt's The Dragon Queen and The Raven Warrior. (The second book is named after the journey of an ally but still very much about her.) It's a very different interpretation of the myth, but I like her writing a lot, despite its occasional flaws, and they have female characters that I adore. Not as many as The Silver Wolf, one of my favorite books of hers and another historical fantasy, but a good amount.
