1. Franklin’s walkabout is over, yes? He will return to his old self now? Because, while the walkabout was better than the addiction, I was getting tired of being irritated by his scenes. Totally not used to that.
2. While I do not particularly disapprove of Refa getting beaten to death by Narns or Sheridan and Delenn making out (pretty much approve of both, actually) I would have much rather the episode where Londo gets rid of Refa had ended with G’Kar finding out what happened to Na’Toth. Or better yet, a Na’Toth appearance.
3. So, Sinclair isn’t just Valen’s reincarnation, but actually the original Valen. Or maybe there’s no actual reincarnation involved there. Have I mentioned this in relation to the Summers family tree, lately? It should be mentioned every time time travel comes up. Also, nice of the show to forget all about his fiancée. (No matter how much I love Delenn and Ivanova and am very fond of pretty much every major male character, I’m still miffed that we had 5 major female characters in season 1, and now we have 2 major female characters and 2 minor ones.)
4. Mrs. Sheridan is Melissa Gilbert! No doubt gone for real this time. I always think of Melissa Gilbert as Gerda in Shelley Duvall’s adaptation of “The Snow Queen.” Also, I briefly thought she was the one who gets a spinoff later, but I guess that’s someone else.
5. It occurs to me that, were this show made today, the whole Minbari bonding thingie that Delenn and Sheridan were starting when Anna came back would have just been a sex scene. Love Delenn and am pretty fond of Sheridan and like the pairing well enough, but I am very glad this show did not air today! No interest in seeing Delenn’s breasts or Sheridan’s butt. Also, still giggling madly that Sheridan made out with future!Delenn before present!Delenn.
6. I am inappropriately amused that last season ended with someone trying to blow Sheridan up and what’s-his-face-the-poor-pilot-guy disappearing chasing a Shadow ship, and this season ended with Sheridan blowing himself and the White Star up, and Garibaldi disappearing while facing down the Shadows. Poor White Star! (I’m sure Garibaldi and Sheridan will be ok.)
7. So very happy the “both going to be Emperor” thing isn’t being endlessly harped on with Londo and Vir. Deeply concerned about Londo’s promotion.
8. And as I can’t remember if it was in these episodes or the last set: The priests are back! Yay! Speaking of which, the angels/demons bit with the Vorlon and Shadows has been evident for a while, but I’m surprised they haven’t just stated it yet.
9. To end on a related note, while the Vorlon are best being secretive, I wish we were getting more of the “new” Kosh. Especially if it meant more Lyta.
