"I use "visuals" instead of "effects" because its the designs that are impressive, the effects are just what brings them to life. And the colors! I can't believe that colors so muted can still be so vibrant. I can't really describe the overall visual result. "Eerie and surreal" would probably be best, though there's also a considerable bit of whimsy to it..."
That about sums up why I wish I'd been able to see this in a theater.
Maybe I'll be able to see it on a big-screen TV someday.
