Of Swords and Parasols

Okay, so Christopher Pike is a juvenile idiot. But to me, whatever, that's not the big issue. The big issue to me is that his offensively incorrect ignorance made it through at least one editor, a proofreader, and a publisher, and none of them called him on any of it. As a fellow writer, I find his actions embarrassing. As a fellow editor, I find their inaction humiliating and infuriating. Shame, shame on his editor and publisher for letting that travesty occur.
