So, Caroline seems to have…very good knowledge of Bonnie’s “sex face.” Just an observation.

Anyway..uhm, after the awful post hiatus episode, the episodes are…steadily improving?

-I’m totally taking the opening scene as validation of my fic where Caroline is a blanket hogger. ~~lulz she practically pushed Elena out of bed~~
-Oh, Elijah, you totally made Damon mostly bearable this episode. I mean, he was mostly getting tortured and pwned after the first few minutes…
-Speaking of the first few minutes, I…really hope Alaric doesn’t know what Damon is doing to Andie. I don’t want to have to hate him.
-John was…talking sense this episode. A lot. I was deeply confused by that. I wish I had faith that the writers really would let Jenna find out what’s going on. ~~Her appalled face remains utterly priceless.~~
-Elena stabbing Brady! A lot! And using survival skills! I wish she’d been the one to kill Brady though. (And, wow, Brady really was like a mini!Damon, wasn’t he? Ick.)
-Tyler, I am so happy that you did not sign up knowing the plan involved your friends dying. Not that I really had a problem with most of his actions, giving the knowledge that he had?)
-The Tyler scenes/montage at the end! They, uhm, basically killed me. (Seriously, Michael Trevino is good given that he totally makes me forget how much I disliked Tyler in season 1.) And, wow, talk about your appropriate songs. Also, that speech he made to Matt…usually, it pisses me off? But it actually made me kind of proud of him, even though I don’t really want a return to Caroline/Matt. I think it’s because usually when that speech is being made, the guy knows that the girl in question does have feelings for him, and is basically…passing her off? But Tyler has no reason whatsoever to think Caroline reciprocates, and every reason to think that getting back together is exactly what she wants.
-I find I am totally OK with Bonnie drugging Luka, given that he tried to begin a relationship with her under false pretenses and likes to trick her and lie to her and plot against her and her friends. But! He has a sister! Who Klaus has! Please oh please oh please let his sister be Meredith!
-Secret vampire hunters closet! Elena faking Stefan out! But, uhm, Stefan, while I think you both need to work on your sense of self-preservation, Elena had a pretty good point about you being a bit hypocritical there. Living a long time doesn’t negate self-sacrificing tendencies. Also, so happy Elena caught onto that bit of her deal with Elijah. I was worried that she wouldn't have notied it at the time.
-JULES! RUN FAR! RUN FAST! SPEND DECADES PWNING EMO VAMPIRES! DON’T LET THEM GET YOU TOO! (Also, next time, choose some girls for your pack?)
-Plaid suits Stefan. Actually, it probably works a bit better for Paul Wesley than a lot of what they've put him in.
