I keep forgetting to reread earlier volumes right before I read new ones, so that I remember what's going on. For a series about Celestial Heaven's Scenery Pr0n with a side of melodrama, it's certainly getting complex and plotty.
Oh look, Habaek got stabbed. Don't worry, dude. You'll be fine. There are volumes and volumes to go yet.
I mostly spent these volumes fangirling Habaek's mom. Because, really.
I like the increase in focus on the war in Heaven and the factions and the backstory. (Well, backstorywise, mostly Seo-Wang-Mo, but really.) Was hoping for more Mura/Wind Dude, though.
I'm glad that Soah finally has some idea of what's going on and is getting to take part in things instead of running around and trying to find things out but basically bumbling into things and wondering what's up with Habaek/Mui because people mostly say cryptic things and don't give her real information.
So many Nakbin lookalikes! Well, I think we're back down to 2 now. I hope we get more to her backstory and motivations, because I susoect we're going to end up "She's just evil and jealous!"
And glad we remembered all those poor girls who were sacrificed and presumably died.
Does anyone know what happened to the kdrama they were supposed to be making of this? (Dark Horse says it's out in one of the books, but I think they were jumping the gun there.) Or is this going to be like the Jeon Woo Chi series where it's all "We'll tell you you get to have this and then we'll never say anything about it again."
