the evils of Black Friday

Waldenbooks: No problem. No real sales, so I grabbed a couple manga I didn't have yet and saved my hgoliday rewards points for when they have a paperback sale in a coupla weeks.
Hastings: No problem. Lotsa sales, but I was armed with almost $100 in store credit. Walked out with X3, Over the Hedge, Monster House, Gunslinger Girl, season 2 of Numb3rs, and a DVD case and only spent $20 out of my pocket.
Where's the problem?
At mall, about to go to Waldenbooks, think "Hmm...since I'm here anyway, I think I'll see if Hallmark has Yankee Candles on sale."
Hallmark had Yankee Candles on sale.
In other news, got out my Christmas decorations(as suspected, I never did get my tree from the parents last year...gotta do that tomorrow) and found the spare set of car keys I noticed were missing about 9 months ago in the box. Funny how those things happen.
Also finally have a recliner(Myles and Jen's that's been in the baby room...they asked if I wanted it 7~ months ago...)
