You decide what's what.
Car:
Inspection: Finally got it done today. All Is good, don't have to get anything replaced.
However: Was driving home from school yesterday and noticed my tempterature guage was too high. Radiator shop was only about 1 1/2 miles away, so I took it there. Heater valve was broken. Only cost $63 to fix. I've been told that if there's anything else in the car that can leak water, they don't know about it.
School:
Psychology: Made a 100 on my 2nd test. All is good.
Lit.: Teacher says all the papers he's graded so far are good, so that's nice. However, he has to go somewhere tomorrow so no class. What's that you say? Was that "Yay!" No! No yays because he decided we should do an annotated bibliography for at least 3 of our sources for our big project. Grrrrrrrr.
Spanish: Studied. Had it dowm. I KNOW I had it down. However, we got to the test...and a lot of the test was conjugations of this one verb tense and I kept trying to remember whether or not it was supposed to have an accent mark...finally decided that it did...turned in the test, went to the bathroom...finally remembered, no accent mark. ::insert uncontrolled sobbing::
Cat: I have found her "hiding" place." She gets in my chair and under the tableclothe at the kitchen table and naps. That is all.
Grandmother: Ungood. Less coherent everytime I see her, also more anxious. And she goes to a story time type thing in the mornings, which is good, but she's there the only time I can go see her anytime but sunday and wednesday.
Comics:
December solicits: Noticed the list looked smaller than it used to. No real biggie. BUT...WTF?!?!?!?!?! Hana Kimi v3 came out mid summer or so...v 4 isn't until FEBRUARY?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!? It's at freaking v21 in Japan...it's not like they have to wait for it to be completed!!!! ::seetheseetheseethe::: I mean...books that have STARTED since Hana Kimi 3 are on 3-5 in the solicits!!!! And...STILL no Fables OGN....I could swear it was originally due out in December. No Guice Humanoids book yet, either.
War Games: All caught up with the issues I have(through most of act 2) On the whole, fairly solid. A few storyline inconsistencies and ridiculous "lets try to make Tramp-tula cool" machinations...I mean, come on, she drops Killer Croc....KILLER CROC!!!!...with a coupla darts. Puh-leeze. And while we're on the subject...no way is Spoiler faast enough or good enough to nail Catwoman. Also a bit heavy handed on the anti-Bata vibe in Gotham, though the fact that I don't regularly read the main Bat-books could contribute to that opinion. On the whole, though, those are nit-picky things....this reminds me of why I always think I LIKE crossovers.
Mars: My first "big" Manga series to complete...much more satisfying ending than the other series I've completed.
Wonder Woman #208: Diana what the ::beep:: are you doing ordering Artemis around like that and Artemis, my dear, what the **** are you doing taking it. If anyone is anyone's subordinate there, Diana is aRtemis's...Artemis is co-ruler of Themiscyra and Diana is the FORMER princess, now ambassador...in other words, Diana backtalked to her boss. Actually, I've had a theory for a while that Rucka doesn't like his characters' supporting casts, esp. when those supporting casts threaten his idea of the main character.
Blade of the Immortal: Have reread up through book 11....you notice the most interesting things on rereads...and ponder...and theorize...
Y'know, the main point of this whole post was to avoid schoolwork...
