So, I need new shoes and new jeans. No biggie, right? WRONG! I'm 5'1" and wear size 6-6 1/2 shoes, therefore, I can only want cutesy junk because that's all short girls are supposed to want to wear.
Shoes: Need a pair of comfy, casual but nice-ish shoes to wear with my pants suits during spring and summer, and a pair of sturdy sneakers for regular wear...took thirty minutes.
Jeans: Need new jeans, too. After the shoes, I lacked the emotional fortitude to venture into the jeans section. However, according to clothing manufacturers, short girls only want cutesy wutesy clothes...we don't want anything like those nice, plain $12 dollar jeans that are 6 inches too long, we want the $25-30 dollar jeans with the cute design and 2 1/2 inch belt. Furthermore, short girls are all THIN. Short girls don't get overweight...NOT!!!!! I'll deal with that one later on...
At least Waldenbooks had Simon Green's "Hex and the City"...
