why, internets, why?

So, when I heard about Forbidden Kingdom, I got as far as "Jackie Chan and Jet Li fighting" and didn't bother learning anything more. What else is important? Yesterday(well, technically day before yesterday, now) I looked at a few pics(because, you know, it's out) and saw that it had Liu Yi Fei/Crystal Liu and Li Bing Bing in it too. Uhm, bonus? Yup, pretty much. Neither one is going to be up for an Oscar anytime soon, but I like them.

There's also some kid from Boston hogging air time because there has to be an American, but I plan to ignore him. Except he's playing LYF's love interest, so I can't. At least it looks like Jackie Chan and Jet Li and a lot of bad guys get to have fun beating him up.

So I watched trailers and saw a closeup of LYF smiling and went "WANT ICON!" And yet...the internet completely denies me of caps of that shot. Woes. But I did find other pretty pics of her, so here, have a few.

(Hmm...I could also do with a good pic of Li Bing Bing and her Seemingly Prehensile White Hair of Doom!! I must look for that tomorrow.)

Claymore Vol 11

And now I am utterly bereft of Claymore until Vol 12 comes out, unless I decide to read scanslations.  But I kind of want to save it for when I get the books.

I suspect I am temporarily ruined for shounen consisting of guys yelling "And now...I'll show you MY REAL POWER!" or "And now...I'LL TAKE THE FIGHT SERIOUSLY!" etc...
